Bus driver David Bonner dies, 5 injured, after colliding with overturned 18-wheeler
A 61-year-old Colorado bus driver, David Bonner, was killed December 5th, after the bus he was driving ran into the side of an overturned tractor trailer. Five passengers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The 18-wheeler had swerved to miss a deer, over-corrected, and flipped on it's side. Another driver saw the overturned truck, drove past, parked and walked over to check on the driver. The bus driver apparently saw the man walking, switched lanes to avoid him, and hit the trailer full speed.
If a loved one has been killed due to the negligence, action, or inaction of an 18-wheeler driver, you may want to file a lawsuit to recoup damages. Before you try to do this yourself, call a wrongful death attorney. Without the help of an experienced lawyer, your chance of getting full compensation for your loss is virtually nonexistent.
