One worker injured and another, Ryan Goodman, lost his life in a crane accident in Kansas City.
On November 10, 2009, a construction worker was killed in a crane accident in Kansas City, MO. The fatal accident occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. as two workers were in a bucket of a 100-ft-tall lift that tipped over. The lift came to rest across several steel beams. One of the workers was injured in the accident, but the other worker, 35-year-old, Ryan Goodman, died shortly after arriving at an area hospital. OSHA has launched a full investigation into the accident.
