Idaho — A small plane has presumable crashed in rural Idaho near Cascade on Sunday afternoon, December 1, 2013. Five people have been reported missing and police said they believe the passengers are all related.
Jonathan Norton and his fiance, Amber Smith, were among the missing, along with Amber’s father and pilot Dale Smith.
The reports from the news said that the plane was headed to Butte, MT from Oregon, where the Smith family had been spending the holiday weekend. The investigation and search has involved the FAA, the NTSB, the Idaho Army National Guard and the Civil Air Patrol, though no remains of the crash site have been found as of Wednesday morning.
