36-year-old Joey W. Sutter and 48-year-old Charles Sittig
In two separate instances, 36-year-old Joey W. Sutter and Charles B. Sittig died at the CES environmental waste facility in Port Arthur, TX. A few months ago, Sutter collapsed on the job. The cause of his death was not immediately made available, but it was later discovered to be hydrogen sulfide poisoning. Representatives for CES suspect such a cause of death is inlikely given the circumstances surrounding his death.
Mr. Sittig died last Tuesday in a similar fashion. CES officials maintain that the cause of death is not due to hydrogen sulfide poisoning, however, the results of an autopsy have not yet been made available to rule out such a possibility.

OK Ive never heard of death by hydrogen sulfide. I drill water wells and we have a ton of hydrogen sulfide in wooded areas it is caused by rotten g vegetation over many years smells of rotten eggs and it can not kill you. Ive been in Well pits underground for several hours with nothing but hydrogen sulfide in the air from a pumping well & the only thing i got was use to it
