Local news reports indicate a motorcyclist was killed in an accident with a semi truck in Bedford Texas. Police believe the accident happened around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday October 11 on a ramp from Highway 183 to Highway 121 when 27-year-old Sam Torres was struck by the rig. Further information has not been made available.

Due to federal law semi trucks are required to hold insurance policies that can range as much as 10 times a normal automobile policy.
