Rosemary Rogers Olsen Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident in Spring, Texas
According to local reports, a woman was killed and two others injured in a head-on collision in Spring, Texas. The accident occurred around 2 p.m. Sunday, August 28 when Rosemary Rogers Olsen was struck in the 4600 block of Spring Stuebner. Olsen was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital-The Texas Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were also taken to Memorial with undisclosed injuries. Police believe the driver crossed the median and struck Olsen head-on.
Commentary This is a tragic accident in the Houston suburb of Spring. I really feel for all the victims involved. A third party investigation is needed to determine liability in this accident. If the police reports are accurate and the other vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic, the driver could face great liability in a wrongful death claim. This liability stems from the recklessness displayed by erratic driving. Liability however, is only corroborated with the help of the investigation. From this determination, a wrongful death claim could be filed to compensate the victim's survivors in areas like funeral costs, emotional distress and suffering, and financial loss that would have been provided by the victim. It is unfortunate, but any number of these claims can and will be heavily combated by insurance adjusters all seeking to mitigate liability and claims against the defendant.

I have lost so much sleep over Rosemary's passing. I did not know her personally but i was one of the first people to arrive on the scene of her accident and did anything i could to help. I stayed by her side because i knew she was in worse condition then the other party involved. I want her family to know she fought as long as she could. I prayed over her and still pray to this day to bring comfort to her family. This has definanetly left a mark on my heart. It brings me comfort as a christian to know she is in a much better place, and although we may not know why we are in certain situations, or why things may happen, have faith and know there is a reason to everything. To all of Rosemary's friends and family my heart goes out to yall and may comfort be with you. Rest in Peace sweet angel.
