Lucedale, MS — Local news reports have confirmed that one person was killed after a deadly accident on Highway 98 in Lucedale early Wednesday morning, September 11. A car and an 18-wheeler collided about four miles away from the Mississippi/Alabama state line at about 7:30 a.m. this morning, leaving one person in the car dead at the scene.
No names or genders have been released yet and the state police reported that more information will be released upon completion of the preliminary investigation. From the news reports by Channel 13 News, it wasn’t clear who was at fault in the accident or if any other injuries took place.
