Tifton, GA — Local news reports stated that the passenger killed on Saturday (August 31, 2013) has been identified as Jose Moreno, 58. Police said that Moreno was killed when the driver of the car he was in lost control on Highway 125.
The driver of the car, 55-year old Ernesto Falcon, was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol when he lost control of his Ford SUV on Highway 125, just southeast of Tifton, and overturned.
Moreno, riding as a passenger, was ejected from the SUV and was killed immediately at the scene. Falcon has since been arrested and charged with DUI, though the investigation was expected to continue over the weekend.
