Thomas Kikas Jr. was electrocuted to death on July 19, 2008
On July 19, 2008 19-year-old Thomas Kikas Jr died in a work related accident. The accident occurred as Kikas, an eletrician in training, was working to restore power to several residences when he fell into a shallow hole and came into contact with a live under ground power line. A co-worker and a witness removed him from the hole and attempted to revive him but it was too late. He was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center where he was pronouced dead.
