Man dies in accident with concrete truck and 18-wheeler on Loop 820 on July 11, 2008
On June 11, 2008 a 25-year-old man died in Saginaw, TX. on loop 820 in an accident involving a cement truck and an 18-wheeler. The accident occurred as the man was driving her Nissan down loop 820 and was rear ended by the concrete truck. The concrete truck then crashed into an 18-wheeler. The drivers of the 18-wheeler and concrete truck were able to escape from their vehicles before they burst into flames but the young woman died instantly in the accident.
A section of loop 820 was closed down while rescue workers aqnd clean up crews tended to the scene. The accident is still under investigation.
