Patrick Johnson Sr. killed in a workplace truck accident in Clay County, FL.
On Tuesday, August 10, 42-year-old Patrick William
Johnson Sr. was killed while at work in an accident in Clay County, FL.Johnson was an Acme Barricades employee when
the incident happened, and he was working at the company’s facility on Normandy
Boulevard.According to local news
stories, Johnson was underneath a work truck, repairing a crash cushion.Allegedly, the lift gate holding the truck up
dropped, causing the truck to fall.Johnson was struck in the head and pinned underneath the truck.He was pronounced dead at the scene when
medical officials arrived.Police are
still investigating the accident, trying to figure out how the lift fell.
