Marvin Jacobs dies after farm accident near Immanuel, AR.
On Thursday, August 19, 83-year-old Marvin Lynn Jacobs
was killed in a farming accident near Immanuel, AR.The accident happened at Jacobs’s farm.According to early reports, Jacobs began
working on a bush hog on Thursday morning.Allegedly, around 11:30 a.m., Jacobs was underneath the bush hog,
removing its blades, when one of the props holding the bush hog up gave way,
causing the bush hog to fall on top of him.Part of the bush hog landed on his throat, causing him to
suffocate.He was found by a neighbor,
and medical officials pronounced Jacobs dead at the scene.There were no witnesses to the incident, so
officials do not yet know exactly how the accident happened.
