Donald Toof killed in tanker truck crash in Lincoln County, NE.
On Monday, August 16, 44-year-old Donald Toof was
killed in a tanker truck accident in Lincoln County, NE.When the accident happened, Toof was
travelling on Highway 83, at roughly 1:45 p.m.Early reports state that the tanker truck somehow struck a guard rail,
which caused the front axle of the truck to break loose.This caused Toof to lose control of the
truck, which rolled over in a ditch on the side of the road.A large amount of gasoline spilled during the
crash.Toof was pronounced dead by
rescue workers once they were able to free him from the wreckage.Police and other agencies are still
investigating the accident, trying to determine exactly how it happened.
