Richard Tyson killed after falling from forklift in Deerfield, MA.
On Thursday, August 19, 24-year-old Richard Tyson, from
Springfield, was killed after falling from a forklift while at work in
Deerfield, MA.Tyson was working at a
warehouse owned by Yankee Candle Company when the incident occurred.According to local news stories, at roughly
4:30 a.m., Tyson was working on a forklift when he somehow fell off of it.He landed on the ground approximately 30 feet
below and suffered serious injuries.Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead
shortly after arrival.Police and
company officials are investigating the accident, trying to determine how Tyson
fell.
