Jennifer Proveaux dies after two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County, TX.
On Monday, August 9, a two-vehicle accident claimed the
life of 28-year-old Jennifer Proveaux in Montgomery County, TX.Proveaux was a rural mail carrier for the
country, and at the time of the accident, she was driving on FM 149, close to
the end of her route.Early news reports
indicate that Proveaux was stopped on the highway, about to turn left, in a
no-passing zone.Allegedly, another
driver attempted to pass her on the left-hand side as she turned and crashed
into her SUV.The vehicle rolled over
and threw Proveaux.Paramedics took her
to Conroe Regional Medical Center, but she was pronounced dead when she
arrived.The driver of the other vehicle
is being charged with driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to
control speed.The accident remains
under investigation, as police determine whether or not further charges will be
filed.
