Mark Thomas dies in Callaway County, MO after being electrocuted.
On Monday, August 9, a jobsite accident in Callaway
County, MO claimed the life Mark Thomas.When the accident happened, Thomas was an electrician clearing power
lines for Rural Electric Cooperative along County Road 230.He was employed by Hentges Tree Service.According to early reports about the
incident, at roughly 2:00 p.m., Thomas was electrocuted, but reports did not
state precisely how the incident occurred.Reports indicate that Thomas died at the scene.The accident is still being investigated by
police and officials from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration, as
they attempt to discover exactly how the accident occurred.
