Big rig accident in Coloma, MI claims the life of Fred Reinhardt Jr.
On Monday, August 16, a big rig accident in Coloma, MI
claimed the life of 68-year-old Fred Reinhardt Jr.Reinhardt was riding in a car driven by his
brother on Interstate 94 when the crash occurred.Early news stories state that, at approximately
4:00 p.m., traffic on the interstate was slowing down due to a previous
accident.However, a big rig truck on
the interstate did not slow down in time and crashed into the back of the
vehicle in which Reinhardt was a backseat passenger.Reinhardt was killed at the scene, while the
other three occupants of the car suffered moderate injuries.The accident is still being investigated, and
police have not yet released any word on charges.
