Scott Fairclough killed by fall after being punched by fellow construction worker in Columbus, OH.
On Friday, August 13, 47-year-old construction worker Scott Fairclough was killed in a construction site incident in Columbus, OH.Fairclough was part of a construction crew refurbishing a home on Euclid Avenue when the incident occurred.According to local news stories, Fairclough and another construction worker got in a fight at the jobsite, but it was broken up by their co-workers.However, a few minutes later, the other man punched Fairclough in the face.Fairclough fell down a set of steps on the front porch and his head struck the cement below.He was rushed to Ohio State University Medical Center at approximately 10:40 a.m. in critical condition.However, he did not survive his injuries, and was pronounced dead at 11:03 a.m. on Sunday, August 15.The man who punched Fairclough is currently being charged with involuntary manslaughter.
