Phillip Oliver killed in Rio Vista, TX two-truck accident.
On Tuesday, August 17, 81-year-old Phillip Oliver of
Fort Worth, TX was killed in a traffic accident in Rio Vista, TX.The accident happened at approximately 12:30
p.m. on South Cleburne-Whitney Road.Early reports about the accident state that Oliver was driving his truck,
pulling a trailer full of cattle, when he was involved in a collision with a
Dodge pickup truck.Police have not
stated exactly how the accident occurred.Oliver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was
taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.Police are still investigating the crash, trying to determine exactly
how it happened.
