Aircraft accident claims the lives of Gene Damschroder Sr., Bill Ansted, Allison Ansted, Danielle Gerwin, Emily Gerwin, and Matt Clearman
On June 8, 2008 a small plane crashed in Ohio killing all aboard. The plane was piloted by 83-year-old former politician and WWII fighter pilot Gene Damschroder Sr. Damschroder brought his single engine cessna to a gathering of small aircraft owners. Following the event Damschroder took several passengers for a ride in his plane. Some time during the plane ride an unknown problem occurred resulting in the plane crashing and all on board dying on impact. Damschroder, 62-year-old Bill Ansted, 23-year-old Allison Ansted, 31-yer-old Danielle Gerwin, 4-year-old Emily Gerwin, and 25-year-old Matt Clearman all died in the accident.
