Authorities from the Arkansas State Police have identified the individual they believe was killed in a tractor-trailer accident in North Little Rock on Friday, March 8th, 2013. Police and accident investigators currently suspect Ahmed Salhuddin was killed when the tractor-trailer he operated possibly suffered a sudden and violent loss of control while navigating Interstate 40. The tractor-trailer vacated the roadway for reasons under investigation whereupon it collided with a bridging structure. The vehicle subsequently erupted into flames.
Scene of the Accident
According to the report, Ahmed Salhuddin was transported to a nearby hospital by emergency response personnel where he succumbed to the injuries inflicted on him in the accident a short time after his arrival. The investigation into the fatal accident is currently active and ongoing by personnel from both local and state agencies. Authorities expect to release more information regarding the accident as their evaluation progresses.
