Officials in charge of the investigation representing the Montana State Highway Patrol have released a statement to the public that has definitively identified all three individuals killed in a collision in Great Falls, MT on February 25th, 2013. Police currently suspect Gregory Strum, Kevin Greenwood and Jason Kovar were all killed when the vehicle occupied by Greenwood and Kovar potentially suffered a sudden and catastrophic loss of control while navigating Highway 87. The vehicle crossed into the lanes of oncoming traffic for reasons currently under investigation, when it came into the path of a vehicle operated by Jason Kovar and collided head-on.
Scene of the Accident
According to the report, Gregory Strum, Kevin Greenwood and Jason Kovar all sustained massive injuries in the accident and were subsequently pronounced dead on the scene by emergency response personnel when they arrived. The investigation into the fatality accident is currently active and ongoing by personnel from both local and state agencies. Authorities hope that any eyewitnesses that have not yet come forward will do so in an effort to paint a clearer picture of the series of events culminating in the deaths of Strum, Greenwood and Kovar.
